Guest Post Policy
So you want to guest post on Stars in a Dark World? AWESOME! I would love to have you and I’m excited to read what you have to say, but before you get started on writing your post, please read our guest post policy.
The goal of this blog is to help guide Christians to be stars in this dark world we live in. Your post should have the same goal. In other words: Make Jesus proud with what you write. With that in mind, you can write about personal experience for the God’s Story section, a biblical discussion for the blog, or something God has laid on your heart to write. No matter the topic of your post, it must be approved before it will be posted.
Each guest post must contain a verse (this can be a favorite verse or a verse that pertains to your topic), a featured image and at lease one image within the post that are at lease 600 pixels in width and 400 pixels in height, and one social media promotional (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest) but more than one will be welcomed. Post should be at least 750 words long and original. They cannot be posted anywhere else, not even on your own blog, but you may share the link on your own blog, social media, or as a reference in the future. Posts must be submitted by email no later than 2 days prior to the agreed upon post date. Please send the plain text version.
Please include a short bio about you, your blog, or both and an image. If you don’t want your picture on the interwebs, send your favorite photo (scenery, animals, building, etc. just keep it clean). Also send the url for your blog to be included in the bio. I will not be including any other social media links in the bio.
Thank you for your interest in writing a guest post for Stars in a Dark World. Use the contact form below to request more information about guest posts and I look forward to hearing from God through you.
